ICT Technician (Second in Department)

The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School.

Start date: October/November 2019

We are looking for a motivated individual with great communication skills to join our ICT Services department as the Second in Department. Our network currently spans two secondary Schools and two primary Schools; this post is across all of the sites, but based out of The Ripley Academy. As part of the team you will be providing first and second line support, helping to look after our websites, leading the way and managing our upcoming Virtual Learning Environment. As a second in department, you will step in when the Head of ICT Services is unavailable to assist with management tasks and support the running of the department and its systems.
